Sasha DiMaria has been a Webster resident since November 2015. Sasha holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Daemen College in Amherst, NY. Currently, she is an independent consultant for child welfare organizations, lending her experience and expertise to programs hoping to grow, improve outcomes, and train staff. Previously, Sasha worked in the New York State Office of Children and Family Services as the Buffalo Region’s Adoption Specialist providing oversight, training, and case consultation to state authorized adoption agencies, foster care programs and local departments of social services.
Sasha is a strong advocate for children and families, serving as Chairperson of the Coalition of Adoption and Foster Family Agencies for three years. While serving as chair, she was recognized for her leadership skills and commitment with several awards including the Friendship Award from Gay and Lesbian Youth Services of WNY. Sasha served as Race Director for three years for the Trick or Treat Trot 5K and Family Fun Walk to raise funds to support foster/adoptive children and families.
Sasha has been married to her husband Andy for five years, and they have two preschool aged sons.
